"As ASEAN nations accelerate their digital economies, seamless data flow, industrial collaboration, and interconnected platforms become critical," Chen stated. "We're building an integrated platform powered by AI, blockchain, and cloud-native technologies to break down information silos and drive deeper integration between finance and the real economy across ASEAN."
Chen emphasized OneConnect’s commitment to local deployment within the region, highlighting its solutions for diverse banking, insurance, and government-to-business scenarios. "Our goal extends beyond technology exports," he added. "We seek true co-creation with local partners and governments to build interconnected, resilient, and inclusive digital infrastructure – ensuring the dividends of digitization are shared regionally."

The forum, organized by the KSI Strategic Institute for Asia Pacific, ASEAN Economic Club (AEC), and ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN-BAC), convenes top policymakers and business leaders annually.
