“AI in ALL” Global FinTech Expansion Solution Draws Wide Attention

Singapore FinTech Festival 2025, one of the most influential global events in fintech, was successfully held from November 12 to 14. Marking its 10th anniversary, the festival carried the theme “Shaping the next decade of growth”, exploring emerging trends shaping fintech over the coming decade. The event brought together 65,000 attendees from regulators, financial institutions and tech ecosystems across 130 countries.

Having chosen Singapore as its first overseas market as early as 2018, OneConnect returned to the festival with its “AI in ALL” fintech globalization solution, showcasing its offshore achievements.

Matthew Chen, CEO of OneConnect Southeast Asia, joined a panel discussion on the Festival Stage on the afternoon of November 14, alongside guests from Tencent Cloud and Bank of China. The session explored how Chinese financial institutions and tech companies can leverage AI capabilities to enhance financial service efficiency and expand their financial ecosystems.

Mr. Chen shared the development strategy of Ping An Group’s integrated financial services, highlighting AI applications under Ping An’s dual-engine strategy of “Integrated Finance + Healthcare & Elderly Care” and technology-driven growth, demonstrating China’s leading advances in AI implementation. He noted that China now ranks among the world’s top in AI development, with particular strengths in healthcare, robotics and large language models. He expressed confidence that growing data resources will further fuel scenario-driven technological innovation and accelerated commercialization in China.

As the exclusive fintech export arm of Ping An Group, OneConnect will continue to support the group’s global expansion and build an open and collaborative overseas ecosystem.

Separately, Matthew Chen was invited to an event hosted at the Philippines National Pavilion and organized by the FinTech Alliance Philippines. He held discussions with Lito Villanueva, Founder and Chairman of the alliance, and other industry leaders.

During his keynote speech, Mr. Chen shared OneConnect’s insights on regulatory technology, fintech development and digital financial inclusion in the Philippines, as well as practical results and experience from local projects. FinTech Alliance Philippines is the country’s largest fintech association, with over 140 members driving more than 95% of digital retail financial transactions in the nation.

At the festival exhibition zone, OneConnect’s booth featured a full suite of AI-driven innovative solutions, including core banking systems, intelligent credit platforms, AI vision, wealth management and insurance technology, demonstrating its end-to-end technical support for the digital transformation of financial institutions.

Visitors engaging with the team showed strong interest in OneConnect’s “technology + business” integrated solutions. The positive response has further strengthened the company’s commitment to its global expansion strategy, bringing proven Chinese fintech and digital transformation solutions to clients worldwide.
